Manifesto for Generative AI in Higher Education

Imagination, Humanity, and the Future

Statement 23 of 30

Inclusion is not optional.

Why this matters

When GenAI privileges some languages, abilities, or cultures over others, inequity is built into the system. Education must actively design for access and belonging, adapting tools and practices so that all voices can be heard.

A question for reflection

Where might GenAI be quietly excluding some of your students - by language, ability, or culture?
